Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer with a strong Databricks and Banking background to join our team in Memphis. This role will partner closely with the Chief Data and Information Officer (CDIO) to drive the strategic direction for our organization's data initiatives.

Skills and Requirements

- Over 8 years of experience as a Data Architect, demonstrating a deep understanding of data architecture principles and practices.

- Exceptional skills in utilizing Databricks, particularly within the Azure ecosystem, to manage and analyze large datasets.

- Proven experience working within a financial institution, with a strong grasp of industry-specific challenges and requirements.

- Ability to conduct risk modeling and analytics to support strategic decision-making processes.

- Advanced proficiency in Python for data processing, analysis, and automation tasks.

- Demonstrated ability to make informed strategic decisions that drive organizational success.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, fostering a cooperative and innovative work environment. - Relevant certifications in Azure, Databricks, or data architecture.

- Previous experience in a leadership role within data engineering or architecture.

- Deep understanding of banking regulations and financial risk management.
