HRIS Analyst
Summary of Position
The HRIS Analyst partners with HR and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze process design, optimize workflows, build project plans, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Primary support areas include HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, and Talent Management.
This role serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and supports subject matter experts by performing data audits, ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, and analyzing data flows to identify improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst also works closely with the IT department on system implementations and to troubleshoot HRIS-related technical issues.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with Workday Analysts, Business Process Owners, HR Operations, and IT to meet operational and project deadlines.
+ Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills in a collaborative environment.
+ Prepare reports, analyze data, and present findings and recommendations to the HRIS Director and key stakeholders.
+ Partner with other Analysts to configure, modify, and test Workday applications and features across functional areas including Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Absence Management (PTO/Sick), and Payroll.
+ Serve as a functional liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors to support system configuration and issue resolution.
+ Maintain general understanding of third-party vendor interfaces (e.g., medical, 401(k), vision eligibility files), including troubleshooting and testing when needed.
+ Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of HRIS policies, procedures, and system best practices.
+ Prepare instructional materials, process documentation, and training resources.
+ Deliver end-user training and provide hands-on system support.
+ Work independently with strong initiative; able to identify, analyze, recommend, implement, and support process and system improvements.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
+ Provide after-hours support when necessary, during system updates or critical events.

+ Ability to apply qualitative and quantitative measurement methodologies and data collection design principles.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and technical support capabilities.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Familiarity with HR policies and HR operations to ensure HRIS system design aligns with organizational needs.
+ Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Strong understanding of information systems with deep technical knowledge of at least one commercial HRIS platform.
Desired Qualifications
+ Workday HCM experience preferred.
+ Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Onboarding platforms.
Education and Experience
+ Minimum of three years of experience with HR systems or HR business processes is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
+ Experience with HRIS/ERP systems and SQL-based reporting tools.
