Full-time onsite:

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

The Role:

In this role you will support Operations Program Managers (OPM) across multiple projects/products by overseeing production planning and execution activities, tracking on-time delivery data, supporting root cause and corrective action analysis, contributing to First Article Inspection plans, and participating in continuous improvement projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

Develop and support affordability plans to help drive cost reduction activities.

Manage First Article Inspection (FAI) priorities as defined by OPMs across various programs.

Support root cause and corrective action analysis to resolve manufacturing and supply chain issues.

Track on-time delivery data and reasons to help improve metrics and manage look-ahead reviews.

Support the manufacturing transition to production and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

LEAP Internship Program:

In this position, you will participate in BAE Systems' nationwide LEAP Internship & Co-op Program, where you will Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress within the company. The LEAP Program will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on impactful projects, engage in career development opportunities, and network with our business leaders and the other students in the program.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Actively enrolled in a Bachelor s Degree program, entering College Junior or Senior year in Business, Math, Science, Technology, Engineering

+ Motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities and able to work independently

+ Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)

+ Excellent team player who is willing to contribute and learn

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Organized, detail oriented

+ Project/task management; make things happen

+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $47833 - $64519

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20 hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
