Pay: $23.04 Hourly

Shift: Must be able to work weekends and evening shifts.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
• 2 years of experience required.
Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch employees, crews/teams, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using radios, telephones, and/or computers.
• Coordinate and arrange for necessary repairs in order to restore service and schedules.
• Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from crews/teams, supervisors, and field inspectors using telephones, two-way radios, and/or computers.
• Confer with clients and/or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment.
• Receive or prepare work orders and work schedules.
• Oversee all communications within specifically assigned areas.
• Monitor personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate service and schedules to achieve optimal efficiency.
• Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work, or services performed, inventory, and other dispatch information.
• Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or client requirements.
• Advise personnel about congestion problems such as construction areas, accidents, weather conditions, other hazards, bottle necks, wait times, etc.
• Ensure timely and efficient movement of resources according to work orders and/or resource schedules.
• Recognize and mitigate a variety of miscellaneous hazards encountered within the department and other work environments, i.e., surroundings, mechanized equipment, and hazardous materials.
• Cabin
• Monitor daily departing flights and create/update the log sheet.
• Create a service log.
• Maintain periodic contact with service personnel to ensure completion of assigned cabin service duties.
• Inform the on-duty supervisor of any issues out of the ordinary that may need additional assistance or oversight.
• Create reports to monitor activity and operations.
• Passenger Service
• Create a work order for every customer that requires assistance.
• Assign any new request to the closest available agent to the passenger/request location.
• Maintain contact periodically with the agent to ensure the request is accomplished in a timely and professional manner.
• Inform the on-duty supervisor of any issues out of the ordinary that may need additional assistance or oversight.
• Ensure employees come to work in (and stay in) uniform.
• Control wheelchair and radio distribution to employees at the beginning and ends of their shifts.
• Forecast staffing to ensure adequate staffing levels to meet the demand.
• Required to push passengers and assist with luggage for the passenger, when needed.
• Transportation
• Create a work schedule for on-duty drivers.
• Assign drivers to necessary routes.
• Maintain periodic contact with the drivers to ensure that all transportation vehicles are safely and efficiently completing their assigned tasks.
• Keep drivers informed of possible hazards, including inclement weather.
• Inform the on-duty supervisor of any issues out of the ordinary that may need additional assistance or oversight.
