    Position Highlights

    POSITION SUMMARY: Performs journeyman level work in the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems in the facility. Works according to diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications. Uses hand and power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments. May have responsibility for electrical equipment. Assumes responsibility and makes appropriate decisions in the absence of the Director of Facilities.

     

    * This position is Full Time, 80 hours every 2 weeks *

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    Post-secondary education or formal technical training highly desirable.

     

    Preferred knowledgeable in boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; and have the ability to read and interpret manuals, building codes, and regulations.

     

    Must hold valid driver's license, good driving record, and be insurable under RHSHC insurance policy.

     

    Proficiency in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
