MACHINE OPERATOR-PRODUCTION SAW
HOURS: 6AM – 230PM
Pay is $16-$17/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Machine Operator – Production Saw to operate industrial saw equipment for cutting materials to specified dimensions. The ideal candidate will ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards while supporting daily production goals.
Key Responsibilities
+ Set up, operate, and monitor production saws according to work orders and specifications
+ Measure, cut, and inspect materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
+ Read and interpret blueprints, cut lists, and production instructions
+ Perform routine machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting
+ Conduct daily equipment checks and report maintenance issues
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
+ Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures
+ Accurately record production data and material usage
+ Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred
+ Previous experience operating industrial or production saws preferred
+ Ability to read measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
+ Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
+ Strong commitment to workplace safety
