Requirements / Qualifications

Basic Functions: The role of the School Psychologist is to assess behavioral, social, and/or academic problems for students in order to facilitate learning and to promote the cognitive, social, and personal development of all students. The School Psychologist is under the general supervision of the Director of Special Education, as well as the specific supervision of the site administrator.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education: •Valid Pupil Personnel Services Credential: School Psychologist.

Experience: •Two years of experience as a School Psychologist; • Ability to read, write, and speak a language other than English is highly desirable.
