Pick and Pack / Material Handler

**Location:** Modesto, CA

**Shift:** Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

1. Scanner

**Pay Rate:** $19.70/hour

Job Summary:

Responsible for accurately scanning and processing customer orders using an RF Scanner. This role involves light lifting, counting, and moving items to prepare orders for shipment.

Key Duties:

+ Operate an RF Scanner to pick and track items accurately.

+ Lift and handle items up to 25 lbs.

+ Verify product counts and locations.

+ Maintain a clean and safe work area.

+ Follow instructions and warehouse safety procedures.

Qualifications:

+ Ability to operate an RF Scanner efficiently.

+ Basic warehouse experience preferred.

+ Good attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

+ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

2. Material Handler

**Pay Rate:** $20.65/hour

Job Summary:

Responsible for moving and handling materials within the warehouse using hand pallet jacks and other non-powered equipment. Performs heavier lifting and ensures materials are transported safely and efficiently.

Key Duties:

+ Use hand pallet jacks to move pallets and load/unload items.

+ Lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.

+ Assist with order fulfillment and shipping preparation.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

+ Follow instructions and warehouse safety procedures.

Qualifications:

+ Basic warehouse experience preferred.

+ Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.

+ Good communication skills and teamwork.

+ Able to operate hand pallet jacks and follow safety protocols.

Work Environment for Both Roles:

+ Primarily indoors (90%), with occasional outdoor work (10%).

+ Active, standing, walking, lifting, and material handling required.

+ Safety precautions and equipment use as required.
