This position is a senior analyst level position with a group that serves as primary liaisons between Capital Adequacy and stress testing participants as it relates to capital planning delivers, provides, facilitates, and executes on strategies that reflect enterprise risks in material capital planning forecasts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Experienced professional. Has excellent analytical skills and knowledge of the bank's balance sheet.
2. Can support and drive completion of financial forecasts to determine impact to capital planning and adequacy and present these findings to senior management.
3. Solves routine problems of moderate complexity by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents.
4. Focuses on enhancing knowledge of Truist's processes, culture and clients.
5. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
6. Actively participates in projects, including planning and execution activities; may be responsible for a project workstream from start to finish.
7. Provides informal guidance to new teammates. Works under moderate supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2 years of related experience
2. Ability to interpret financial and non-financial information into business improvement ideas required
3. Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to key clients in a concise and useful manner
4. Ability to manage competing priorities
5. Ability to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents
6. Awareness of industry competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and other banks in the market
7. Ability to communicate complex information in straightforward situations
Preferred:
1. Master's degree or MBA and 3 years of related experience.
2. Previous experience in the banking industry.
