HR Administrative Assistant

Duration: 12 months contract
Job Description:
+ Support new hire orientations. Prepare new employee orientation packets on a weekly basis. Create new hire onboarding welcome bags.
+ Work with IS to provide laptops for new hire orientation use.
+ File employee documents i.e. attendance forms, probationary evaluations.
+ Submit HR Tickets for applicable employee transactions such as safety shoe & glasses reimbursement, employee data changes.
+ Covert archived employee HR files to digital.
+ Support HR and Maintenance Manager with Maintenance Technician interview scheduling.
Responsibilities:
+ Create HR files for new employees.
+ Assist employees with general HR inquiries and assistance where needed.
+ Handle HR mail, document shredding.
+ Support HR Team Members as needed.
Experience:
+ Administrative experience. Prior HR Generalist experience a plus.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
+ Outstanding interpersonal skills.
+ Can manage a varied workload.
Education:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
