    Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Production Associate IV to join our team. In this role, the Production Associate IV will provide a variety of operational support, including monitoring equipment, performing basic day-to-day manufacturing functions, and operating powered industrial trucks.

     

    Primary Objective

     

    Operate various powered industrial trucks to pick orders and transport materials to the cutting station or shipping area.

     

    Major Function and Scope

     

    Verifies color and SKUs of tile being loaded for accuracy.

     

    Maintains a detailed record of products loaded.

     

    Unloads product from stacker to tile carts.

     

    Pushes tile carts into dryer or designated area as directed by Shift Lead.

     

    Monitors tile for defects and reports defects to Profile or Saw Operator and Shift Lead.

     

    Monitors stacker for proper operation and reports problems to Shift Lead.

     

    Follows standard operating and safety procedures.

     

    Assist Machine Operator with Bullnose staging area, according to production schedule.

     

    Load and unload trucks from distribution center, according to production schedule.

     

    Constant communication with Inventory Specialist to maintain precise inventory.

     

    Ability to read and interpret weekly production schedule.

     

    Store and organize product in designated locations.

     

    Ability to forecast upcoming production schedule to anticipate constant production flow.

     

    Keep area safe, clean, and organized.

     

    Performs other related duties as required.
