    **Position Description:** Exercise Physiologist Cardio-Pulmonary

    Positions details:

    + **Location:** Mease Countryside: 3231 N McMullen-Booth Road, Safety Harbor FL 34695

    + **Status:** PRN (as needed), Exempt: No

    + **Shift:** 8-hour shifts

     

    Summary:** **Serve as a member of the rehab team engaged in performing cardio-pulmonary services. Demonstrate competence in the development and leadership of exercise programs for cardio-pulmonary patients. Evaluate and supervise the patients and remain current in approaches, exercise prescription and treatment of the cardio-pulmonary patient. Act as a preceptor for exercise interns and provide education to the staff and patients in the area of expertise.

    Qualifications:

    + **Required Education:** **Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology; OR Bachelors in Related Field**

    + **Preferred Education:** **Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology**

    + **Required Credentials:** **BLS (Basic Life Support)**

    + **Preferred Credentials:** **ACSM-CES (American College of Sports Medicine-Clinical Exercise Physiologists); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)**

    + **Preferred Experience:** **2 years Cardiac Rehabilitation and 1 year Internship**

    **Facility:** BayCare Health System, Cardiac Rehab-NBH

     

    Status:** **Full Time, Exempt: No

     

    Shift Hours:** **Various

     

    Shift:** **Shift 1

     

    Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

     

    Weekend Work:** **None

     

    On Call:** **No
