Job Description Summary
As a Senior Security Consultant specializing in Identity Management, you will serve as a subject matter expert in Cloud-based IAM platforms, guiding clients through complex security challenges, governance models, and compliance frameworks within cloud and hybrid environments. You’ll leverage your technical acumen and business insight to deliver strategic solutions, optimize identity architectures, and drive secure transformation initiatives for large organizations.
This position is remote with a Home Office setup as determined by Stratascale management.
Role Description
+ Provide advancedexpertisein Okta,Entra and generalIAM, and related technologies, delivering guidance on remediation, cloud security, governance, and compliance across core infrastructure systems.
+ Partner with clients to architect and implement identity management solutions, integrating automation, technical assessments, and compliance analysis.
+ Design and deliver governance frameworks, security architectures, compliance reporting, and risk assessments focused on identity and access management.
+ Collaborate with sales and technical teams to qualify opportunities, support solution scoping, and ensure successful project delivery aligned with clientobjectives.
+ Assess client requirements, recommend tailored IAM solutions, and proactivelyidentifyopportunities for process and security improvement.
+ Lead consulting engagements,developingand executing deliverables that meet client needs and practice standards.
+ Create andfacilitatetraining programs, workforce development initiatives, and enablement sessions—both in-person and remotely—on identity management and security best practices.
+ Participate in client and internal meetings, providing technical leadership,facilitatingstrategic discussions, and offering actionable recommendations.
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging IAM technologies (Okta,Entra/Azure AD, etc.), industry trends, and best practices in identity governance.
+ Collaborate cross-functionallywith other practice leaders to enhance integrated security capabilities and mentor less experienced consultants.

Skill Level Requirements
+ Expert-level experience designing, implementing, andoptimizingcloud-based IAM solutions (Okta, Azure AD, AWS IAM), focusing on scalability, security, and efficiency.
+ Deepproficiencywith cloud security frameworks, identity governance models, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST).
+ Strong understanding of security technologies including firewalls, endpoint protection, email security, and identity management platforms.
+ Proven ability to direct and complete complex projects,utilizingresources efficiently and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
+ Advanced experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring) as they relate to IAM automation and integration.
+ Expertisein Okta Workflows, Customer IdentityCloud, Okta Identity Governance,Identity Security PostureManagementand Identity Threat Protection
+ Mastery in data analysis for security and identity management purposes, supporting strategic decision-making and compliance.
+ Expertproficiencyin productivity applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for project management and reporting.
+ Competence in managing Active Directory, AWS, VMware, Windows Server, and secure network environments.
Other Requirements
+ Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required
+ Minimum 7 years of experience delivering security engineering and IAM projects for large enterprises.
+ Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events
+ Advanced industry certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, Okta Certified Consultant, etc).
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $165,000 - $205,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
