About the Role:
As a CBRE Events Planner Consultant, you will strategically manage small to medium-sized events and programs ensuring alignment with the client's business needs, goals, and objectives.
This job is part of the Workplace Experience function. They are responsible for providing world-class customer service to the clients and visitors of a designated building.
What You’ll Do:
• Assist with providing direction on employee management. Review and make recommendations on budgets and cost reductions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve client inquiries and complaints. Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Verify consistency in support provided by the team through continuous review and improvement of existing processes.
• Interpret and communicate goals and direction with management. Set achievable goals that are linked to the objectives of the organization.
• Serve as a liaison for meeting & events forecasts and strategies.
• Review reports and suggest procedures to improve employee efficiency and smooth operations.
• Monitor the performance, training, and development of staff. Execute training programs to develop skill sets.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.
What You’ll Need:
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
+ Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
+ Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
