    Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and engineering sector, is seeking a CAD Designer to join their team. As a CAD Designer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** CAD Designer

    **Location:** Phoenix, AZ

     

    Pay Range: $50.00 Hourly

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Create and maintain detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using AutoCAD and PTC Creo.

    + Model parts and assemblies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications.

    + Interpret engineering design intent, manufacturing, and inspection requirements to produce clear and manufacturable drawings.

    + Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to implement design changes and update documentation.

    + Manage drawing revisions and release workflows within the PLM system (Teamcenter) to ensure configuration control.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum 4 years of CAD design and drawing experience in a mechanical, manufacturing, or aerospace environment.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and PTC Creo for parts and assemblies.

    + Experience applying ASME Y14.100, Y14.5, and Y14.41 standards, including GD&T.

    + Hands-on experience with PLM/EDM systems for revision control and workflow management.

    + Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerancing, and assembly considerations.
