Our client, a leader in laboratory testing and diagnostics, is seeking a Lab Tech Jr. to join their team. As a Lab Tech Jr., you will be part of the Laboratory Operations supporting the scientific and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Lab Tech Jr.

**Location:** Gretna, LA

Pay Range: $19/hr on w2

What's the Job?

+ Operate Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer and LC-MS/MS instruments for confirmatory testing.

+ Perform testing in accordance with SAMHSA mandatory guidelines and other regulatory standards.

+ Conduct quality control duties to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.

+ Document and report test findings accurately and timely.

+ Support laboratory operations during scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.

+ Experience or familiarity with laboratory instrumentation, especially Gas Chromatography and LC-MS/MS is preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Ability to follow strict regulatory guidelines and safety protocols.

+ Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
