Our client is seeking a Controls Engineer to be responsible for working with an R&D team on new product development projects including design, testing and technical support. As a Controls Engineer, you must be able to perform PLC programming, as well as troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Controls Engineer
Pay Rate: Pay will be up to $120,000 (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities
+ Prepare detailed schematics and working engineering drawings of electrical devices and system.
+ Conduct electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic design, peripheral device programming, machine PLC programming, coordinate the machine debug, power-up, and machine validation with build and electrical teams and provide customer documentation as needed
+ Provide assembly team with technical support during assembly and managing Final Assembly Test.
Requirements
+ 3 years experience with Allen Bradley and AutoCAD Electrical
+ BSEE or BSEET is required
