Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Surgical Services Director, the RN Manager oversees Clinical Coordinators and collaborates with them to guide department growth, ensure patient satisfaction, maintain strong physician relations, and manage fiscal responsibility. The manager supervises and directs the delivery of patient care and related services for the OR in alignment with administrative policies and the hospital’s mission, vision, and strategies. The role emphasizes collaboration with staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to maintain safe, high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Maintain clinical knowledge of all areas within the department
+ Manage daily OR operations, including staff scheduling, patient rounding, and ensuring patient satisfaction
+ Assist the educator with competency development
+ Support Clinical Coordinators with admission and discharge coordination
+ Interview, hire, and onboard personnel
+ Assess employee performance, implement learning plans, and conduct annual evaluations
+ Counsel staff and implement disciplinary actions when necessary, including terminations
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards, national nursing standards, and specialty nursing standards
+ Evaluate patient outcomes and support quality improvement initiatives
+ Assist the Surgical Services Director with the OR unit budget
Qualifications:
+ 1–3 years of RN OR experience required
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
+ NH RN License required
+ Strong OR Charge Nurse candidates may be considered

**Pay Details:** $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
