    Position Overview:

    StoneSprings Hospital Center is a leading 120+ bed acute care facility in Loudoun County, providing high-quality healthcare services since 2015. The hospital offers a 24/7 Emergency Department, orthopedics, advanced heart and vascular care, diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology, minimally invasive robotic surgery, and maternal/child health services.     The Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health oversees the day-to-day operations of the Behavioral Health Nursing Department, ensuring exceptional patient care and efficient staff management. This role provides direct supervision of House Supervisors, Charge Nurses, and nursing staff, optimizing workflow, staffing, and resource utilization across the unit.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manage daily operations of the Behavioral Health Nursing Department to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care.

    + Supervise, mentor, and develop House Supervisors, Charge Nurses, and nursing staff to maintain high standards of clinical practice.

    + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans, improve patient outcomes, and maintain regulatory compliance.

    + Monitor staffing, scheduling, and patient acuity to optimize unit performance and efficiency.

    + Foster a positive, supportive, and collaborative work environment, promoting staff engagement and professional growth.

    + Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and accreditation standards.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required

    + Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nursing Manager, Supervisor, or Clinical Team Lead in a Behavioral Health unit within an acute care setting

    + Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification – must be obtained within 30 days of hire

    + Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) – must be obtained within 30 days of hire

    + Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
