Adecco Health Care & Life Sciences is conducting a search for an experienced **Director of Women’s Services** to support a large, high-acuity acute care hospital.
Schedule & Compensation
+ **Shift:** Day
+ **Pay Range:** $48.04 – $72.05 per hour (commensurate with years of experience)
Position Overview
Under the general direction of senior nursing leadership, the Director of Women’s Services provides strategic and operational leadership with **24/7 accountability** for assigned service lines. This role partners closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining regulatory compliance and fiscal responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide leadership and oversight for Women’s Services departments, including labor and delivery and related units
+ Oversee assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care delivery
+ Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership to support patient, family, and staff needs
+ Manage staffing, budgets, and resources in a fiscally responsible manner
+ Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards
+ Support organizational mission, values, and performance goals
Qualifications
+ **Minimum 5 years of recent (within the past year) leadership experience** as a Nurse Manager or Director in a large acute care hospital
+ **Required:** Women’s Services leadership experience in a **high-acuity setting with 3,500+ annual births**
+ Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; **BSN preferred**
+ Active RN license in the state of practice and/or active compact license
+ Specialty certification preferred
+ Strong oral and written communication, organizational, and leadership skills
+ Ability to obtain and maintain BCLS certification
