The Lead Enterprise Architect translates business needs into technical systems solutions and architectural roadmaps. The Lead Enterprise Architect works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
The Lead Enterprise Architect integrates hardware, software and network interfaces to form a system. Recommends products that will evolve the organization's technical infrastructure. Provides leadership in developing the organization's technical and architectural staff. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
+ 10+ years in IT architecture roles; 3+ years in enterprise architecture leadership.
+ Proven experience in:
+ AI Architecture (Generative AI, Agentic AI, ML pipelines, AI governance)
+ Integration Architecture (APIs, event-driven systems)
+ Data Architecture and Analytics Platforms
+ Hands-on experience with:
+ AI/ML model deployment and lifecycle management
+ AI platform design and integration
+ Strong understanding of enterprise and AI governance (ARB/TRB, AI risk frameworks).
+ Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences through scalable, sustainable, and well-governed technology solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in Information Systems, Enterprise Architecture, or AI-related technical field.
+ Certifications such as:
+ TOGAF or other EA frameworks
+ ITIL and IT4IT
+ Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Architect / Data Engineer)
+ Certified Specialist in AI/ML (e.g., NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute)
+ Experience with:
+ AI/ML platforms and lifecycle management
+ Enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Informatica)
+ Integration tools (Kafka, MuleSoft, Streamsets)
+ BI/Analytics platforms (Power BI)
+ ITSM platforms (ServiceNow) and ITIL processes
+ Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance frameworks for AI, data, and enterprise architecture.
+ Proven ability to facilitate ARB/TRB governance processes and document decisions.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$142,300 - $195,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
