    Description

    The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing the organization’s accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This role involves preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and supporting audits.

    Key Responsibilities

    Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

     

    Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or IFRS.

     

    Perform account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.

     

    Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

     

    Support internal and external audits.

     

    Implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

    Requirements

    5+ years of experience

     

    Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

     

    Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.

     

    Strong proficiency in general ledger operations and account reconciliation.

     

    Expertise in journal entries and accurate classification of transactions.

     

    Demonstrated ability to conduct bank reconciliations effectively.

     

    Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

     

    Familiarity with GAAP and other accounting standards.

     

    Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work across departments.
