Description

We are looking for a skilled Part Time Payroll Specialist to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple states. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has extensive experience with full-cycle payroll.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage full-cycle payroll operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Handle multi-state payroll responsibilities, including adhering to various state regulations.

• Administer payroll for union employees, ensuring proper deductions and contributions.

• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to address payroll discrepancies and inquiries.

• Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

• Generate payroll reports and provide insights for management review.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Assist with audits related to payroll processes and records.

• Implement improvements to streamline payroll operations and increase efficiency.

Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing.

• Expertise in managing multi-state payroll operations.

• Familiarity with union payroll processes and requirements.

• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance standards.

• Proficiency in payroll software and systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
