Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Applications Engineer to manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical financial systems within our organization. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of financial applications while supporting business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and leadership skills to drive innovation and continuous improvement in our financial software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with finance teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and design technical solutions that meet business needs and regulatory standards.

• Manage the integration of financial applications with enterprise systems, ensuring secure, accurate, and efficient data flow across platforms.

• Monitor and optimize the performance of financial applications, addressing issues and identifying opportunities for system scalability and reliability.

• Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

• Lead projects from initiation to completion, coordinating resources, timelines, and priorities to deliver solutions on schedule.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for system configurations, workflows, and integrations to support future development and troubleshooting.

• Develop training materials and conduct sessions for end-users to ensure effective utilization of financial applications.

• Provide ongoing support to users by troubleshooting issues and addressing inquiries related to application functionality.

• Partner with product owners and other departments to align application capabilities with organizational goals. Requirements • Associate’s degree in computer science, information technology, finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, including 3 years focused on financial systems.

• Proven expertise in financial applications, enterprise systems, and accounting software.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure and DevOps tools for CI/CD processes.

• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance standards and financial auditing procedures.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues.

• Basic programming or scripting skills in languages like Python or JavaScript.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executives. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
