Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Rochester, New York. In this Contract to permanent role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient management of financial transactions and maintaining accurate records. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.

• Perform account reconciliations to verify ledger accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Handle check runs and prepare payments in compliance with company policies.

• Code invoices accurately and ensure proper allocation to accounts.

• Maintain and update financial records through precise data entry.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address invoice-related issues.

• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, and QuickBooks Online.

• Generate reports and provide analysis related to accounts payable activities.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company procedures. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.

• Strong proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, and QuickBooks Online.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Ability to accurately process invoices and manage payment schedules.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and team members.

• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
