Description

+ Develop mechanical designs for container-based and platform-based supply chain systems

+ Build and refine 2D/3D models using PTC Creo, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and Windchill

+ Create manufacturing-ready drawings, tolerances, and documentation

+ Work with suppliers, fabricators, and internal teams to move designs into production

+ Collaborate closely with the Program Management Team to align requirements, schedules, and deliverables

+ Support inspection, testing, and production quality checks

+ Troubleshoot technical issues during fabrication and assembly

What You Bring

+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

+ 2–5 years of mechanical or structural engineering experience

+ Proficiency in Creo, Inventor, SolidWorks, and Windchill

+ Strong understanding of fabrication, weldments, tolerances, and manufacturability

+ Practical, detail-oriented mindset

+ Ability to work full-time on-site in McLean, VA

+ Project management experience

+ Supply chain or manufacturing experience

+ Exposure to defense, aerospace, or energy programs

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mc Lean, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $62.50/hr.
