We are seeking a dedicated and professional Pharmacist to join our team. This role involves providing expert pharmaceutical care and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

+ Fill, enter, and package medication orders accurately.

+ Verify the legality and pharmaceutical feasibility of dispensing drugs, considering patient allergies and incompatibilities with current medications.

+ Interpret prescription orders with precision.

+ Adhere to all Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.

+ Transfer prescriptions to other pharmacies as needed.

+ Communicate effectively with doctors and nurses.

+ Evaluate inventory levels and place orders for products when necessary.

+ Restock station supplies such as vials, cassettes, labels, and delivery tickets.

+ Oversee pharmacy technicians and provide performance feedback to their supervisor.

Essential Skills

+ Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and healthcare.

+ Bachelor's in Pharmacy or PharmD is required.

+ Valid State Pharmacist License without any restrictions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Pharmacy technician certification (Cpht) is a plus.

+ Experience in pharmaceutical care and healthcare environments.

Work Environment

The work environment is positive and supportive, with a focus on collaboration. You will work closely with a fun group and benefit from a good culture. The owner of the facility is present daily and maintains an open-door policy, offering support to staff as needed. This locally owned pharmacy is equipped with the resources of Guardian Pharmacy, ensuring a well-supported work setting. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 6 PM, with only a four-day workweek, allowing you to choose your day off. On-call duties are required every fourth weekend, although it is rare to be called in. Relocation assistance is available.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Island, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62.00 - $70.00/hr.
