    Job Title: Mechanical Designer IIIJob Description

     

    The Mechanical Designer III plays a pivotal role in supporting the Engineering Team Lead by assigning tasks and providing guidance to the Design group. This position involves performing mechanical design for power, lighting, and low voltage system construction projects, as well as specific product lines. A high level of technical expertise in at least one design area is essential.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist the Engineering Team Lead in assigning tasks to the Design group.

    + Provide direction and assistance to team members within the Design group.

    + Perform mechanical design for power, lighting, and low voltage system construction projects.

    + Contribute to product development with a focus on progressive mechanical design.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor.

    + Strong mechanical design skills.

    + Experience in product development.

    + Technical expertise in at least one design area.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Associate's degree in CAD drafting or a relevant field, with consideration for a Bachelor's degree.

    + Experience with progressive mechanical design.

    Work Environment

    This position requires travel 10-15% of the time. The work schedule is between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to meet business needs.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $79040.00 - $93600.00/yr.

     

    10% bonus, excellent health dental vision and 401k benefits as well

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a hybrid position in Olathe,KS.
