    Job Title: Distribution Construction Manager

    Job Description

    Seeking a Construction Manager to oversee a Resiliency Program in the Greater New Orleans area. This role involves managing subcontractor performance and leading crews to build distribution systems in New Orleans and Jefferson Parish. The manager is responsible for the overall production and quality of the job and will lead a team of up to 25 people.

    Responsibilities

    + Drive subcontractor performance to ensure project goals are met.

    + Lead subcontractor and internal crews in building distribution systems.

    + Oversee overall production and quality of the job and crew performance.

    + Ensure construction subcontractors execute work in line with safety, quality, and contractual standards.

    + Facilitate communication with project teams and stakeholders through standardized reporting and meetings.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in Distribution Construction Management.

    + Proficiency in electrical distribution and power delivery.

    + Familiarity with construction documents, QA/QC, and substation construction.

    + Strong computer and reporting skills.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with Entergy projects is a plus.

    + Knowledge in construction management, project management, and safety.

    + Experience with transmission and electrical project management.

    Work Environment

    This position involves working in the field on a project lasting approximately one year. The work week consists of 50+ hours, with 10-hour days over five days. The role includes a standard per diem based on the local area and the potential for future project work. Benefits include holidays and PTO. The work environment requires coordination of subcontractor crews and adherence to detailed expense guidelines.

    This is a Contract position based out of Covington, LA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
