We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to work closely with Partners, Studio Director, and Creative Director during the design phases to establish and maintain project vision, goals, and quality. The role involves overseeing the project architecture and design team from concept design through construction documentation, serving as the day-to-day point of contact with clients, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee the preparation of coordinated documents from concept design through construction documentation.
+ Manage correspondence and coordination with clients, vendors, consultants, building departments, landlords, construction teams, and other project personnel.
+ Develop and track Project Schedule, Staffing, and Work Plan to ensure all major and minor project milestones are met.
+ Handle financial management of projects, including preparing and tracking contracts, fees, invoices, scheduling, budgeting, and work assignments.
+ Conduct research and ensure compliance with governing codes and national standards.
+ Assist with staff development and mentoring.
+ Oversee the preparation of reports and presentations for client meetings.
+ Manage the development of architectural specifications and project-specific construction details.
+ Monitor progress of all construction phases to ensure compliance with design drawings and deadlines.
+ Analyze construction bids and oversee Construction Administration duties, including reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs.
+ Draw upon extensive experience to detail projects, specify systems/products, and recommend vendors/consultants.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 8-9+ years of professional experience working on related project types.
+ Minimum 4 years of experience managing teams and mid-to-large-sized projects.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Photoshop, and InDesign.
+ Basic knowledge of Revit and SketchUp.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Suite.
+ Ability to interpret construction data, engineering calculations, drawings, and building codes.
+ Highly organized with acute attention to detail.
+ Strong time management skills and ability to multitask.
+ Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
+ Excellent team collaboration skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Architecture or related field.
+ Experience in leading project teams of 4-5 people.
+ Involvement in high-end residential projects is preferred.
+ Creative thinking and people management skills.
Work Environment
This position is part of a 30-35 person firm focused on luxury residential projects, operating nationwide and internationally. The team consists of 25-28 architects working alongside Interior Design and Architecture teams. The firm offers a hybrid work schedule with four days in the office and Fridays remote. Business hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM. The office environment is open-space, with typical background noise and disturbances, and standard office equipment is used. Occasional travel to local, domestic, or international job sites is required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
