    Responsibilities

    + Lead transportation project design from concept through construction

    + Perform engineering computations, develop construction plans, layouts, and technical reports

    + Supervise and mentor junior engineers throughout project design phases

    + Apply and train others in transportation design standards including AASHTO, GDOT, FHWA, and local guidelines

    + Prepare cost estimates, specifications, and bid documents

    + Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring deliverables meet expectations

    + Conduct field work including erosion and construction inspections, site visits, and client meetings

    + Coordinate with internal teams, clients, subconsultants, and the public

    + Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology

    + 6+ years of experience in roadway design and engineering

    + P.E preferred but not required (must have EiT)

    + Proficiency in Bentley InRoads, OpenRoads, and Microsoft Office Suite

    + Strong communication and time management skills

    + Ability to work remotely full-time with occasional in-person site visits and meetings

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $63.00/hr.
