Job Title: Permit CoordinatorJob Description

We are seeking a Permit Coordinator to manage permitting activities for gas and telecom design projects. This role involves preparing and tracking permit applications, coordinating approvals with agencies, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities to liaise with internal teams and external agencies.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare and track permit applications for gas and telecom design projects.

+ Coordinate approvals with local and state agencies.

+ Maintain accurate records of all permitting activities.

+ Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards.

+ Communicate effectively with internal teams and external agencies.

Essential Skills

+ High school diploma (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)

+ 2+ years of permitting experience in civil engineering, utilities, gas, or telecom industries

+ Familiarity with permitting processes and documentation standards

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with online permitting portals such as Accela and ePlans

+ Ability to read engineering drawings or site plans

+ Knowledge of Right of Way (ROW) and Department of Transportation (DOT) permitting

+ Project administration and analysis skills

+ Experience in construction and data entry

+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Work Environment

Located in Plantation, FL, this is a full-time position with standard business hours. The role is primarily office-based, requiring coordination across multiple teams. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
