Job Title: Civil Design EngineerJob Description

As a Civil Design Engineer specializing in Storm Water Management, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions for site design, storm water management, and green infrastructure projects. You will work closely with a team to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and provide sustainable designs for both commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities

+ Design and manage storm water management systems and green infrastructure solutions.

+ Utilize Civil 3D AutoCAD for site design and grading of commercial and residential properties.

+ Develop and review designs for septic systems, sediment control, and soil erosion prevention.

+ Ensure designs meet DEP regulations and obtain subdivision approvals.

+ Collaborate with project managers to oversee project timelines and deliverables.

Essential Skills

+ 8-10 years of engineering design experience with an emphasis on storm water management.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, specifically Civil 3D, and Revit.

+ Professional Engineering (P.E.) License required.

+ Strong understanding of site design, civil design, and grading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.

+ Experience in project management and land development.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment

This position offers a flexible work schedule with an 8-hour shift. Employees enjoy benefits such as medical, vision, dental, and profit sharing. Work is primarily based in Toms River, with projects located in Ocean, Middlesex, and Mercer County. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Millstone, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $52.88/hr.
