We’re seeking a Land Development Project Manager (PE) to drive multi‑discipline site development projects from concept through construction—while mentoring emerging talent and shaping long‑term client relationships.

About the Role
As a Project Civil Engineer/Project Manager, you will guide projects through every phase—from conceptual planning, engineering design, and permitting, to final construction documentation. You’ll work closely with designers, clients, and internal leaders to deliver top‑quality solutions for both public and private development projects.
What You’ll Do
• Lead civil/site engineering design for permitting and jurisdictional approvals
• Manage projects from early planning through construction documentation
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and fellow PMs to deliver projects efficiently
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and quality standards
• Develop engineering solutions tailored to client standards and project needs
• Organize, document, and communicate design solutions clearly to the team
• Participate in QA/QC reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Attend client meetings and provide project updates with confidence
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to staff development
What You Bring
• Strong civil engineering background in land development
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D, grading, and stormwater design
• Minimum 4 years of project management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction Engineering, or related
• Professional Engineer (PE) License required
• 8–12 years of relevant experience
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Bonus Skills (Not Required but Great to Have)
• Water resources engineering and stormwater permitting experience
• Ability to manage, support, and develop less experienced staff
• Client‑facing confidence and relationship‑building strengths

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
