Job Title: Civil DesignerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer who will utilize Civil 3D to develop detailed designs, reports, and engineering studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering project technical documents, technical specifications, and design calculations. You will coordinate drawing development with technical staff and create proposed grading surfaces, including feature lines and drainage flow. Additionally, you will perform project and construction administration for related designs as required.

Responsibilities

+ Utilize Civil 3D to develop detailed designs, reports, and engineering studies.

+ Prepare and deliver project technical documents, technical specifications, and design calculations.

+ Coordinate drawing development with technical staff.

+ Create proposed grading surfaces such as feature lines and drainage flow.

+ Perform project and construction administration of related designs.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Civil 3D, including Plan Sheet Set, Roadway Alignment, Feature Lines to create Proposed Surface, Plan & Profiles, and Pipe Network.

+ 5+ years of civil design experience.

+ Experience working on land development projects - industrial, commercial, residential, multifamily, or public works.

+ Ability to create proposed grading surfaces, grading, site development, stormwater, and storm drain designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ EIT (Engineer in Training) is a plus qualification but not required.

Work Environment

This is an in-office position requiring your presence five days a week. The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Friday from 8 am to 12 pm. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $48.00/hr.
