    Job Summary

    Join our team as a Quality Control Lab Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. This position offers opportunities for growth into leadership or elevated lab roles, providing an excellent career progression path.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform laboratory tests to determine chemical and physical characteristics or composition of in-process batches, raw materials, and finished products.

    + Verify formula and component specifications on batch tickets.

    + Set up, adjust, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments, including viscometers, chemical balances, pH meters, gloss meters, solids analyzers, spectrophotometers, FTIR, NIR, and Gas Chromatographs.

    + Test samples of manufactured products to verify conformity to test results on batch tickets and in the company’s computer operating system.

    + Organize and maintain quality records and retains of production batches.

    + Evaluate retains of production batches in response to quality complaints.

    + Conduct in-coming raw materials testing, ensuring conformance to required specifications.

    + Perform routine production quality checks to ensure finished products are filled and packaged according to specifications.

    + Audit laboratory and production work instructions to ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Policy.

    Essential Skills

    + High School Diploma required.

    + Associates or Bachelors in Scientific Discipline preferred.

    + 1+ year of QC laboratory experience within a GMP environment.

    + Must have 1+ years of tenure with previous employers.

    + Ability to work independently as the solo quality lab representative on off shifts.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mooresville, IN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
