Environmental Project Manager / Environmental Remediation

Key Areas of Focus
+ Environmental Field Investigation & Assessment: Perform groundwater and soil sampling, oversee drilling operations, and conduct Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments (approximately 80% field-based).
+ Project Coordination: Scope projects, develop budgets, manage vendors, and support up to 20 active projects simultaneously.
+ Client Interaction: Assist with proposal development, provide project updates, and maintain strong client relationships.
+ Technical Execution: Analyze environmental data, support remediation strategies, and contribute to technical deliverables.
Daily Responsibilities
+ Lead and execute field investigations and sampling activities.
+ Coordinate subcontractors and vendors for drilling and remediation tasks.
+ Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, and basic technical reports.
+ Support senior project managers in managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
+ Participate in client meetings and assist with proposal development.
+ Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and internal QA/QC standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or related field.
+ Experience: 4–6 years in environmental consulting, with at least 1 year in project coordination or junior PM role.
+ Field Expertise: Strong background in field investigations (80% field-based work).
+ Technical Skills: Environmental remediation, site investigation, groundwater and soil sampling, regulatory compliance, and report writing.
+ Certifications: OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER required; PG, PE, QISP, or GIT preferred but not mandatory.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $180000.00/hr.
