    Description

    The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and services to ensure scalability, security, and reliability. This role involves working with cloud platforms, automating deployments, and optimizing performance for business-critical applications.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Design and deploy cloud solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and cost optimization.

    + Implement security best practices for cloud environments, including identity and access management.

    + Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into cloud environments.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents.

    + Maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and configurations.

    + Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

    + Proven experience in cloud engineering or similar role.

    + Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.

    + Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

    + Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.

    + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    + Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Cloud detail oriented) preferred.
