Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Brentwood, Tennessee. In this role, you will oversee critical financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This position requires expertise in managing financial records, preparing reconciliations, and supporting the month-end closing process.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute month-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are correctly recorded and reconciled.

• Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining compliance with accounting principles.

• Conduct detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Perform bank reconciliations to validate transactions and ensure accuracy.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

• Provide support for audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for reporting purposes. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting with a focus on month-end close and reconciliations.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and journal entries.

• Proficiency in conducting detailed account and bank reconciliations.

• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

• Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights.

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.

• Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
