Description

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Applications Specialist to support patient intake processes and ensure the accurate handling of medical paperwork. In this contract role, you will collaborate with patients and healthcare teams to facilitate smooth registration and documentation procedures. This position is based in Union City, California.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients in completing and submitting medical forms and applications.

• Verify insurance information to ensure proper registration and billing processes.

• Manage patient intake procedures accurately and efficiently.

• Utilize content management systems to organize and maintain records.

• Handle electronic medical records (EMR) with precision and confidentiality.

• Operate within a production environment to support high-volume workflows.

• Monitor and update patient data in compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Collaborate with healthcare staff to resolve patient registration issues.

• Work with microfilm systems to retrieve and archive medical documents.

• Ensure adherence to basic medical terminology and documentation standards.

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in patient intake or medical registration.

• Proficiency in handling client applications and insurance verifications.
