    Robert Half Accountemps (Addison, TX)


    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations.

    + Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

    + Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation and approval.

    + Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed.

    + Assist in preparing budget reports, financial statements, and variance analyses.

    + Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant laws and regulations.

    + Collaborate with auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

    + Participate in process improvements to increase accounting efficiency and accuracy.

    + Maintain accurate records for supporting schedules and external reporting.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

    + 1+ years of accounting or finance experience preferred.

    + Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
