Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to support our team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will manage high-volume accounts payable tasks, including processing invoices, ensuring accuracy through three-way matching with purchase orders, and maintaining detailed records. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to work with national vendor accounts in a dynamic service industry environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices for national account vendors using JD Edwards and AX systems, ensuring accuracy through three-way matching procedures.

• Approve and voucher invoices for payment, utilizing system-generated batch files for efficient processing.

• Track batch files by logging them into the tracking report to maintain organized payment records.

• Audit processed invoices and provide detailed coversheets to branch locations for verification.

• Communicate with branch staff to resolve purchase order discrepancies and ensure successful payment processing.

• Maintain a comprehensive list of invoices that cannot be processed due to invalid purchase orders and follow up for resolution.

• Offer customer service support to internal branches regarding invoice and payment inquiries.

• Collaborate with branches to address invoicing challenges and provide guidance on resolving purchase order issues.

• Ensure accurate data entry of vendor invoices and expense reports to support seamless accounts payable operations. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, including full-cycle AP and high-volume invoice processing.

• Strong proficiency in JD Edwards and AX systems, or similar ERP platforms.

• Familiarity with three-way matching processes involving purchase orders and invoices.

• Advanced computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

• Exceptional organizational skills to manage large volumes of data and maintain detailed records.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal staff and resolve vendor-related issues.

• Ability to analyze and address discrepancies in purchase orders and invoices.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of accounts payable tasks.
