Description

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in San Diego, CA. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about finance and accounting and eager to contribute to organizational growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and regulatory standards

+ Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

+ Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

+ Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

+ Analyze financial data and generate reports for management

+ Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed

+ Contribute to process improvements and support financial planning initiatives

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ At least 2 years of accounting experience; experience in a corporate setting is preferred

+ Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

+ Strong organizational and analytical skills

+ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
