Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our client in the innovative biotech sector. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, science-driven environment and is passionate about ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process

+ Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections

+ Process payroll and maintain related records

+ Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management

+ Manage general ledger entries and support monthly and year-end close procedures

+ Assist with budgeting, cash flow management, and expense tracking

+ Collaborate with finance and operations teams to resolve discrepancies promptly

+ Maintain organized electronic and physical financial records in accordance with industry regulations

Requirements

+ Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred

+ Minimum of 2 years’ bookkeeping or accounting experience (industry experience in biotech or a related field is a plus)

+ Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

+ Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
