Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist** **Job Description

Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in handling incoming and outgoing materials, verifying shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This position is integral to ensuring efficient warehouse operations while adhering to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

+ Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials, verifying accuracy against shipping paperwork.

+ Package, label, and ship finished products in accordance with company, customer, and carrier requirements.

+ Build custom shipping crates and pallets using air nail guns, air staple guns, saws, and hand tools.

+ Read drawings or specifications and take precise measurements to ensure proper fit and product protection.

+ Cut, assemble, and secure crate materials to prevent damage during transport.

+ Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.

+ Organize and stage materials to support efficient production and on-time delivery.

+ Identify and report shipping discrepancies, damages, or shortages.

+ Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records using warehouse or ERP systems.

+ Coordinate with production and logistics teams to meet shipping deadlines.

+ Follow all safety, quality, and OSHA standards to maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of experience in Shipping & Receiving.

+ 2+ years of Forklift experience.

+ 1+ years of measuring experience.

+ 1+ years of crate building experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ General labor experience.

+ Production and assembly skills.

+ Proficiency in inventory management.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift with hours scheduled from Monday to Friday. Start times vary between 4:30 AM and 6:30 AM. The work environment is organized, safety-compliant, and conducive to efficient warehouse operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33280.00 - $33280.00/yr.
