Job Title: Kitter** **Job Description

Work independently in all aspects of operations, including receiving products, picking orders, packaging, and preparing shipments. Success in this role requires proficiency in each of the essential functions.

Responsibilities

+ Fulfill orders by picking and recording lot numbers.

+ Perform kitting and configuration of surgical trays.

+ Process inventory transactions using the inventory management system.

+ Prepare and package outbound shipments.

+ Maintain a comprehensive records management system for all shipments and inventory transfers.

+ Assist in maintaining inventory levels by reporting low stock items to purchasing.

+ Provide customer service assistance, including tracking packages and providing shipment details.

+ Receive and process surgical instruments and implant trays from field returns.

+ Clean returned instruments and kits according to established operating procedures.

+ Perform basic instrument repairs using hand tools.

+ Conduct light mechanical assembly.

+ Print, store, and apply product labels.

+ Perform chemical etching on instruments.

+ Assist in investigating and reconciling count and lot number discrepancies.

+ Support consigned inventory counting and reconciliation.

+ Relocate products between inventory locations.

+ Maintain work areas in compliance with regulatory standards.

+ Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.

+ Update logs and reports as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

+ An associate's degree in business with at least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the medical device industry.

+ Experience with inventory management.

+ Skills in shipping and receiving.

+ Preferable experience in medical device assembly or warehouse kitting.

+ Skills in mechanical assembly, material handling, and packaging.

Work Environment

Work in an air-conditioned environment with hours from 9 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Some lifting up to 50 lbs and moving kits is required, as well as updating inventory documentation in the computer.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tequesta, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
