    Field Service Technician – Fertilizer Equipment (Travel Required)- Pay up to $35/hr.

    We build and support equipment such as blenders/mixers, bucket elevators, conveyors, and rotary drums. As a Field Service Technician, you’ll work directly with local cooperatives and agricultural operations to keep their equipment running safely and efficiently.

    What You’ll Do

    + Diagnose, adjust, and repair fertilizer equipment (drag conveyors, elevator legs, blenders, valves, etc.)

    + Inspect machinery for wear, damage, or mechanical issues

    + Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic/air systems

    + Perform MIG welding on damaged or broken components

    + Test equipment to ensure proper operation after repairs

    + Conduct routine maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, adjustments

    + Maintain accurate service logs and documentation

    + Travel to customer sites using a company vehicle

    + Perform additional duties as needed

    What We’re Looking For

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and MIG welding experience

    + Ability to travel 60%+ (seasonal variation)

    + Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements (physical + drug test)

    + Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders/stairs

    + Effective communication and customer service skills

    + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks (kneeling, crawling, stooping, etc.)

    + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

    Work Environment

    + Travel 50–75% of the time using a company vehicle

    + Moderate industrial/agricultural noise levels

    + All travel expenses reimbursed 100% (charged to personal credit card)

    This is a Permanent position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
