• About the Role
Become a key player in the production process with **Core Publishing Solutions** . As a **Bindery Operator** , you’ll set up, monitor, and troubleshoot high‑performance equipment to ensure every product meets top-tier quality standards. If you have strong mechanical aptitude and experience in printing or bindery operations, this role puts your skills front and center.
• What You’ll Do
+ Review job specs to determine materials and setup needs
+ Monitor equipment performance and product quality
+ Request maintenance support when needed
+ Troubleshoot equipment and product issues (simple to moderately complex)
+ Communicate clearly during shifts and hand-offs
+ Perform preventative maintenance and assess mechanical condition
+ Use computer-based workflow systems to manage files
+ Document material usage, equipment issues, and production activity
+ Handle tasks such as feeding, catching off, stacking, bundling, and cycle counts
+ Promote a strong safety culture and follow all PPE requirements
+ Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards
+ Contribute continuous improvement ideas
+ Support project teams and fill in for other operators as needed
+ Regularly stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and kneel
•️ Essential Skills
+ Experience with press machines, bindery equipment, inserters, and printing machinery
+ Strong troubleshooting ability
+ Proficiency in printing press operations
• Preferred Experience
+ Previous experience in printing or bindery environments

• Work Environment & Shifts
+ Large industrial printing and bindery shop with a tight-knit production crew
+ Company-provided safety gear (gloves, glasses) + paid steel‑toe boots
+ **Shift Options:**
+ **1st Shift:** 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
+ **2nd Shift:** 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
+ **3rd Shift:** 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM (Sunday–Thursday)

This is a Permanent position based out of Eagan, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $67000.00/yr.
