Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team, focusing on assembling and packaging products using hand tools and reading blueprints and work instructions. This role involves taping boxes, counting inventory, and handling mechanical assembly tasks.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble various sizes of cases and flashlights using hand and power tools.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.

+ Package products and secure them for shipment.

+ Use small drills, hammers, and rivet machines for assembly and packaging tasks.

+ Lift products weighing between 7-40 pounds.

+ Add foam to cases for product protection.

+ Operate pallet jacks and automated shrink wrap machines.

+ Ensure accurate inventory counts and proper labeling of products.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production and light industry environments.

+ Proficiency with mechanical assembly and using hand and power tools.

+ Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical drawings.

+ Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in manufacturing or distribution is preferred.

+ Willingness to work in a clean and organized environment.

+ Provision of own steel-toed boots; safety glasses, gloves, and an orange vest are provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.75/hr.
