    Job Title: Assembler

     

    Pay: ranging from $18-$21hr (based on shift and skill level)

     

    Shifts: 1st shift 5:45am-2:15pm & 2nd shift 2:15pm-10:15pm

    Job Description

    Take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity at a renowned company! The assembler is responsible for supporting production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines. This role involves applying job skills to complete various tasks, acquiring a knowledge of products, and understanding the impact of quality. The assembler works on routine assignments to meet production demands and and receives detailed instructions on new or special assignments. **Each assembler station also has the ability to sit-down at times if desired based off the task at hand.**

    Responsibilities

    + Start each day by reading the instructions for the specific job assignment.

    + Perform in-house quality checks, ensuring all parts meet quality standards.

    + Utilize basic hand tools such as flat-head screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and Philips screwdrivers.

    + Assist in cross-training focus factory members as needed.

    + Operate within established company policies and procedures.

    + Document any defective parts and adhere to the 'see something, say something' policy.

    + Perform tasks that may require standing or sitting, depending on the job line.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience.

    + Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools.

    + Ability to read and write effectively.

    + Experience in production, assembly, and general labor.

    + Familiarity with mechanical and electrical assembly, schematics, and blueprints.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Mechanically inclined and experience in manufacturing is preferred.

    + Ability to sit or stand for the duration of the shift.

    + Capability to frequently reach at waist and occasionally above head.

    + Ability to carry up to 10lbs and lift up to 45lbs.

    + Ability to frequently push, pull, bend, kneel, and stoop.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00/hr.
